In celebration of the Feast of the Holy Prophet Elias, the service of the Blessing of Vehicles was held. Our parish also prayerfully sent off our own Vladimir Hula as he began his training for the service of our country in the United States Marine Corp. May Almighty God protect him and grant him many blessed years!

His Eminence, Archbishop Michael of New York and the Diocese of New York and New Jersey visited SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Herkimer. During the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, Timothy Halligan was tonsured to the rank of Reader and Reverend Presbyter Vasil Dubee was granted the dignity to wear the Kamilavka and was also installed as Rector of our parish. 

After commemorating His suffering and death on the cross for us, we celebrated the FEAST OF FEASTS - The Resurrection of Our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ! CHRIST IS RISEN! INDEED HE IS RISEN! ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС! ВОІСТИНУ ВОСКРЕС! 

The servant of God, Pierre DePeyster was received into the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church through the Holy Mystery of baptism on Lazarus Saturday. May God Grant Him Many Blessed Years!

The Church School children processed with holy icons of their patron Saints during the Divine Liturgy on the feast of the Sunday of Orthodoxy - the victory of icons over the heresy of iconoclasm. 

In the festal time of the Nativity and Theophany of Our Lord, our parish family also celebrated together at the church rectory.

Annual Blessing of vehicles in celebration of the Feast of Saint Elias. 

Three very tall spruce trees (one Norway and two White Spruce) were removed from the parish grounds between the church and the rectory. The Norway spruce was over three feet in diameter and all three trees had grown to unsafe heights, posing a possibility of them falling during stormy weather. A special thank you to all the laborers in this hard work and also to our Parish Council for deciding to have the trees removed. The trees will be put to good use at a local farm and a small fruit orchard will be planted where they formerly stood. 

His Eminence, the Most Reverend Michael, Archbishop of New York and the Diocese of New York and New Jersey, makes his yearly archpastoral visitation to our parish. 

Our annual Fall Bazaar was held in drive-thru style this year! Thank you everyone for your help!
